I occasionally throw smaller items but I prefer to throw a minimum of five pounds of clay, sometimes venturing as much as fifty pounds, no easy task. My pots are slightly heavier, more rustically sturdy, functional pottery with colorful, hand-blended glazes.

I have completed a number of commissions ranging from large planters to dishwasher-safe flatware and bowl sets. All of my commission work has been hand-thrown, bisque-fired, then hand-glazed and high -fired.
